During the many incarnations of this program, the important thing was,
is, and always will be this: Play as any nes/gensis/snes
chracter you want. Some of our favorites will keep thier
original apperances, others are getting updates.
Zeo of the Gaming
Universe has once again picked up another several time abandoned
project, (As far as the old crossovergoes. Its been dead for 5
years......) This project was probalby one of the
inspiratipons for story mode in SSBB and SSBM. Unlike SubSpace
Emissary, you won't be limited in character moves to moves that are
balanced. Each character will have thier own move sets indepedent
of
the others, and thier own strenths and wekness.
However, unlike other games that do this, I intended to make things
work cross chatracter as muchcan. For instance, ever wanted to
see Fire sonic? Racccon Megaman? Frog suit Knuckles? Raccon
Fire Mario? Cape Link? Three Treasures Mario? If all
geos well, you will. Exception to this is going to be Super
sonic. Only Sonic unverse characters will retain super
ability. Reason being, is that there is way too much work and
effort into character design for that to apply the baord, and for some
characters, its pratically useless or stupid. Also Tails off
course deosn't need a Racoon leaf, Link deons't need a specail
sword.....things like that.
THIS TIME I will be developling it myself. This will
OBVIUOSLY extend develoment time 10 fold as is I'm a pretty
low power (and pateince) programmer. Considering its been 8 years
coming though, I suspect that that will actaully be faster then 6
momths hard development by a more skilled developer, then being dropped
on its head again.
This engine will be concurrently developed for Zelda 2 Enhanced.
So look to Z2E for the updates, becuase it will
update first.
